By itself, the JVC UX-EP25 appears as a compact, micro-size stereo system with a central unit and 2 separate speakers but there's more. It has a front input for adding a special dock (included) that lets you play your iPod through the sound system. It also has all those things you expect from a stereo system including a CD player and an AM/FM radio. The CD player plays all commercial CDs plus it can play CDR and CDRW with prerecorded MP3 and WMA files. It also has a timer for lulling you to sleep or bringing you awake. Sound performance is enhanced with JVC's Active HyperBass Pro. It delivers those rich, low frequencies you wouldn't expect to hear from such small-size speakers.
Add your iPod as an additional sound source. The included stand works with all compatible iPods that are dockable. It can charge your iPod while it's in the stand and you can easily access Play/Stop/Skip functions with the included system remote. The UX-EP25 also has a USB host adapter that lets you play your PC directly through this audio system.
